AfterWe prepared Brianna’s front four teeth for crowns. For two weeks prior to starting, she whitened her teeth to the shade she liked. He had limited finances, and could not afford to do crowns or veneers. I suggested we restore his teeth with composite material until he could save up to fix them with a more permanent solution.
AfterWe removed all the old filling material, decay, and stain. We then matched the shade of his teeth, and applied composite in layers to recreate the shape of the teeth and close in all the spaces. Tommy- Porcelain Crown
BeforeTommy is a 62 year old gentleman who presented with a 15 year old crown that did not match the rest of his smile. His front tooth was too long, and lacked the translucency that our natural teeth have. It also had part of the tooth exposed along the gum line, and a dark metal line showing where the porcelain and metal join.
AfterRe-doing a single front tooth is one of the hardest jobs as a dentist, because it is very difficult to get a perfect color match. Tommy bleached his teeth first, and then we replaced the problem tooth with an all porcelain crown. We matched the length of the two front teeth. We were able to achieve the smile he desired!
